You will learn about the local approach to sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, and the promotion of peaceful, nonviolent culture. You will also develop a respect for cultural diversity and the role that culture plays in sustainability (SDG 4.7)
This three-week study abroad program is crafted to provide a holistic and unforgettable experience by seamlessly blending education on sustainable development with hands-on projects, cultural immersion, and active community engagement. Participants will not only acquire a deeper understanding of sustainable practices but also forge lasting memories of Japanese culture and meaningful connections with the local community.
The program ensures that participants develop a comprehensive grasp of the interconnected components shaping a society.
