The GEH LAB volunteer internship program pairs global health research and development initiatives with professional development opportunities for students and professionals from a range of sectors. Past internship positions have included associate positions in digital media, non-profit administration, communications, grants, and fundraising. Our volunteers come from across the globe. To view our team, check out our “Where We Work” tab.
We work with universities in the USA and abroad to offer academic credit for students to fulfill practicum requirements through participation in our research and internship program. Past practicum projects have included research projects analyzing the impacts of climate change on coastal communities and developing a health education campaign to combat COVID-19 in rural East Africa. Our practicum program provides students with mentorship from public health experts and the foundational skills to build your global health career.
We help young scholars and professionals to present their work in global health at national and international conferences and meetings such as APHA, WADEM, CUGH, and AAAS.
